Chris Hinds
Director of Projects – Victoria

About Chris Hinds
Two decades in residential project marketing — now leading YPMA’s Victorian portfolio from Melbourne.
Chris has spent the better part of two decades in residential project marketing — and watched Brisbane transform from a quiet river city into a globally recognised destination, playing an active role in the wave of development that drove it.
Since joining the YPM team in 2017, after years working alongside them across Brisbane’s most significant projects, Chris has been integral to bringing more than $5.4 billion of globally recognised, integrated resort developments to Brisbane and the Gold Coast. His work on the landmark Queen’s Wharf Residences — now sold out — and The Star Gold Coast remains the highlight of his career: projects that reshaped skylines and placed Queensland firmly on the world stage.
Today, Chris brings that experience south, leading YPMA’s Victorian division from Melbourne. He heads a portfolio of landmark off-the-plan residential developments spanning the CBD, Southbank, Docklands and the inner city — from flagship high-rise towers such as 640 Bourke Street to boutique bayside addresses. Across every project, he partners closely with leading developers, guiding the journey from strategy and pricing through to channel activation, public release and settlement.
Resourceful, commercial and relentlessly service-led, Chris is at his best building the relationships off-the-plan success depends on — with development teams, channel agent networks and buyers alike. His approach is strategic and intelligence-led, but always human: nothing is ever too hard, and every project is treated as his own.
